Avalon Envelope

The AVALON envelope is an extremely practical envelope for exchanging (almost) all flat items such as cards, credit cards, banknotes, folded notes and much more. After trying out all the envelopes available on the market, such as Unbelievable Envelope, Devil's Envelope, etc., and finding something wrong with all of them, I sat down and designed my own envelope.

This envelope is characterised by its simple handling, which makes an exchange seem impossible. The card, which is in the envelope from the start and can be seen through the viewing window, is simply pulled out visibly. This results in an exchange with a card hidden under the envelope.

Of course, I have significantly improved the envelope. I have finally found the optimal paper that guarantees a longer durability. The paper parts were lasered and are no longer distinguishable from a factory-made envelope. I have also used double layers of paper, which makes it easier to replace and handle the envelope.

The biggest change, however, is the gimmick. The dummy card is no longer held by a paper strip, as in the previous version, but by a special gimmick with two tiny neodymium magnets. This makes it possible to show the envelope empty beforehand (you can't see anything with the best will in the world) and put the prediction card into the envelope in front of the audience. This was not possible with the old version.

It is also easier to replace the card with another one or to use a folded piece of paper. Simply peel the card off the gimmick and stick on the new card or piece of paper using a little double-sided tape or glue dots. Done! It only takes a few seconds.
